Rookie of the Year!

Some of you have already heard, but I was so proud of my husband last night! He found out a couple weeks ago, that he was going to be awarded with Rookie of the Year. He was actually quite surprised at this, but very excited. Last night we got to get all fancied up and go to the Keller Williams Gala at the Marriott in the Denver Tech Center. It was for all of the Colorado Keller Williams agents. It was so fun to see everyone all dressed up in their fancy clothes. I think there were about 10 Rookie of the Year awards given out for all of the Colorado Keller Williams agents, and I think they said there were 2,974 agents or something like that. Matt looked so handsome as he made his way up to the stage to collect his award. This is an award that you can only get during your first full calendar year of being a Realtor. I have to say, that it has been hard going off and starting up a business and doing Real Estate...but my husband does an amazing job at it! It was so neat to be able to be there with the owner of his Keller Williams branch and those others over him and see how impressed they were with him and just the true belief that he is going to go so far in Real Estate. Matt makes a great agent because he really understands that purchasing a home is a big deal in peoples lives. He is so compassionate and concerned with everyone and I think that is a very good quality in him. I am so proud of him that even though we feel like we are on a roller coaster with ups and downs, he is really working hard for our family, and I know that we will be blessed for it. If he can do this in these economical times, just think of the agent he will be when Real Estate is up and running at it's fullest again! Good job honey, I love you!

How cool is that?! I wish you guys lived here. We're trying to buy a house and use some nice/ethical people right about now. I'm glad things are going well for him, that makes things less stressful during these hard times!
