Sweet Phoebe
Very early this morning is the day that one year ago, Rebecca gave birth to her sweet angle Rebecca Phoebe Michel. It was such a heart wrenching time for all of the Michel family, especially Martin and Rebecca. Phoebe was a full term stillborn. She was so perfect, that she didn't even need to stay here on this earth. It is so sad and seems so unfair at times, and my heart aches for Martin and Rebecca. This is something that no parent ever wants to have to endure. It makes me realize how precious life really is. I have been thinking a lot about them and one year ago. I know that their hearts will never fully be healed and that Phoebe will always be missed. The one thing I always think of when I think how unfair and hard this is, is what amazing people Rebecca and Martin are to be able to have been chosen to carry, for 9 months, such an amazing and special spirit. I know that one day they will be together again in Heaven. I love their family, I love Phoebe, and I love my Heavenly Father. Families are Forever!

I couldn't help but reading "Sweet Phoebe's" blog that her beautiful mother set up. Their story definetly touched me in ways I could never imagine and is making me rethink this whole not having more kids thing. You are such a sweet sister-in-law to her and I appreciate both of you sharing Phoebe's story.
