So, I have been busy cleaning out the garage and getting the yard all ready for the fall. Today I started to stain our fence...it has been partially stained, but was suppose to be completely stained like 60 days after completion...well that didn't happen, but we did get the parts stained that made it look like it was done. However, I am tired of having the finishing things in our yard not finished, so I have been trying to get them done. Landon and Brooklyn are all about the "painting the fence" thing. We started and then ran out of stain, and had to go to soccer practice. When we got back they were both like, can we go paint some more. So, I guess it wasn't so bad that it has taken us so long to get around to it, because now they can enjoy helping out!
However....my house is a complete disaster! I was just feeling like I was getting it to where I was "all caught up" with it and in a good routine, when I decided to start this big organizing rampage that I have been needing to do forever. It started with the toys in the basement..which I am still in the middle of. Then since the weather was so nice, I though I better get the things that I need nice weather for done, so I started on that, well our garage was a disaster, it was Matt's domain, and needless to say it never got done, so I started it on Tuesday, and finished it up on Wednesday (Matt did help me with it on Wed). Then moved on to the yard today, and have totally neglected the rest of my house...laundry, vacuuming, you know pretty much everything, so I guess that I will have to work on that once we complete the fence, hopefully tomorrow!
Well, I am going to go to bed now, but just thought I would post a little of what I have been up to this week. Hope everyone is doing well!

Life
Okay, so I have been a very bad blogger lately. I haven't posted in quite some time. I seems like that is the typical thing for me, but I would like to get better at it. I have so many pictures and things that I have taken and thought, oh that will make a good blog picture. Well, I guess at least I have some cute pictures and videos to look at, even if I don't get them posted.
Life just seems to be super busy lately. I think that is just the way it goes when you grow up and have all of the responsibilities of an adult. I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, just about life in general. I have decided that life is as good as you make it. I think that attitude has everything to do with life. Growing up, I was given a lot of trials, and at that time I didn't think that much about them. My Mom always said, I just always rolled with the punches. I think that is just the theme of my life. I mean I know that everyone is given trials, but I just always try and remember that my trials are so little compared to many peoples trials in their lives. Someone always has it worse, or harder. My motto since I was little....SMILE ALWAYS!
I love being a mother and wife! I just can't believe how very blessed I am to have 3 beautiful children that I love and adore and that love and adore me. I wish I could say that I am a super mom, but I am not. I try, but I know that I could always be doing more for them. I think it is sometimes hard to try and find a balance between all the responsibilities that need to get done around the house and time spent with children. I wish that I could order up more time!
It is funny how differently I look at life now, as opposed to when I first got married. I know people always say that and you are like ya right, but it is true. Actually my Mom saw this thing on the morning show about how you aren't able to make "adult" decisions until the age of 25, because your brain isn't fully developed until then or something like that. Good thing I am 25 now! I guess me and my 25 year old brain have a different perspective on life now, and I wouldn't change any of the decisions I made before now. I am so happy that I got married when I did to my wonderful hubby. I am so glad that we decided not to wait very long before we had kids. I feel like I am now just learning to fully and truly embrace motherhood, and I love it. Of course like anything, it has its moments, when you are so completely tired and exhausted, but all of the other moments outweigh that. I sometimes wish that I didn't have to do anything else and that I could just play with my kids and hold them and love them all day. It is so fun watch them all grow up, but at the same time, I wish I could keep them little forever.
I never thought that when I got married my husband and his twin would be starting up their own business, Michel Realty, and that job stability wouldn't be there. This is probably my biggest trial now. It is so stressful to try and juggle all the finances and time when starting up a business. I know that sometimes my family thinks that Matt is crazy and that he should just go and get a "normal" job, and I will have to admit, sometimes I wish that was the case, but I know how much it means to both Matt and Martin that they do this and they do it well. I know that despite all the stress that this brings, if it turns out they way they have it planned, it will be all worth it. I know that they both want their families to succeed and they want to be able to provide for us, so that is why they are doing this, not to try and make us fail. With big risks, come big rewards (at least we hope so anyway)!
I love my Heavenly Father. I know that he loves me. I know that the gospel is true. I know that everyone experiences different trials and different joys in their lives, but these are all because of a Father in Heaven who loves us and wants us to learn and grow. I hope and pray that I can be a good example to my children and all of those around me. That one day my Father in Heaven can look me in the eye and say that he is proud of me and my choices. I have always been one who just wants to make everyone happy. Sometimes I am a little bit hard on myself because I feel like I should be able to do everything perfectly, but I am so not perfect. I have learned that I can't please everyone. Not everyone thinks that my choices are the best choices. Some people think that it is crazy that I got married so young, have 3 children, never finished college and that my husband quit his chemistry profession to do real estate, but I think it is marvelous! Sometimes you just have to trust in the Lord and do your part as well as you can and just say Jesus take the wheel.

1st day of preschool
Landon had a good first day of preschool. He was excited to see old friends from preschool last year. He told me last night with a sad voice, "Mommy, I thought I was going to start Kindergarden today, not preschool." I told him he would have to wait until next year, but he is excited to go to preschool again on Friday!

Summer Fun
Is this snow in August?...Nope just a big hail storm...but the kids thought it was little
snowballs!

snowballs!
We finally gave in and bought a tramp, okay well I didn't think they could hurt themselves as bad on this one...
Cutie Jasmine and her hansome Daddy!
Grandma JoJo and Jasmine hanging outside on a pool day
The coolest slide/swimming pool, Grandma JoJo and Grandpa Trevor don't spoil their grandkids
Our fun little pool that the kids have loved this summer
Jasmine Chill'n outside with her cool shades
Best friends Elaine and Annie, but they are moving to Spokane, WA
Wow, I can't believe that summer has already come and gone. Well, I don't think it has actually gone, but school has started. Landon has his first day of preschool tomorrow. He is really excited to get back to preschool, but he told me tonight,"Mom, I will miss you." But I told him it was just 3 times a week and for 3 hours out of the day was all.
We had a great summer. We actually decided to end the summer with a fun trip to Water World yesterday. We were planning on going to Elitches, but apparently they were closed for the summer and only open on weekends now. Water World was having its last week day yesterday and is now closed except for weekends. We had a BLAST! Jasmine stayed with Grandma JoJo, and was very good for her. Matt, Landon, Brooklyn and I all went and had a good water day. I would recommend it to anyone with young kids. It was great because Brooklyn was still free, but able to do a good portion of the rides...she even got on some she wasn't tall enough for, but they weren't really checking heights. Landon was such a daredevil! I couldn't believe the slides that he went on. If any of you have ever been to Water World, he went on the big, tall, white slides...not the old white ones that I use to think were scary, but the newer ones that are like twice as high! I couldn't believe he did it, and he did it 3 times! Also there was this ride called the Boomerang...I think thats what it was called...and he did it 3 times too! It was a super thrill ride for me even. Needless to say, our kids are not afraid of going to the water park and having a good time. We got our monies worth and can't wait to go back next year!
I love summer time and I am glad that it is not totally over yet and that Landon is only in preschool this year so we can still play. I will be excited but sad for him to start "real" school next year. As for our big vacations this year...it was our camping trip, water world, and grandma JoJo's blow up slide! But we might still head out to Utah sometime..we will see. Maybe our Beach Money Jar will be filled up by next summer..Landon and Brooklyn both put all of their money in there whenever they find coins. We can't wait to go back to the beach some day. It has been 2 years and Landon still talks about it (can't believe that he ever remembers it).
Hope everyone had a good summer vacation! These are just some pictures from over the summer.

So Much For Seat Belts!!!
Although this looks like torture and very uncomfortable...she is not upset in the picture! Sweet little Jasmine is growing up. I guess that seat belts are not always the answer. I was busy cooking dinner and decided that I needed to set Jasmine down, so Ithought I would put her in her bouncer and give her a toy to play with...she dropped it....and was very......
.......determined to get it! She has learned how to set up all by herself now and I guess is too big for this bouncer. Although it is sad to say, it is also very fun to watch her grow up and progress. She actually just got her first tooth 2 days ago and I think the other one will be cut through tomorrow!

Long time
So, it is has been a while since I have posted on here. We have been busy and I just haven't had a chance. We had company come on Wednesday and leave late Saturday night, so I was busy with that. Now my sweet little Jasmine is sick, she has a snot factory going on in her nose...hopefully it wont spread to everyone, but it seems like it usually does. Our guests were sick, so I am sure that is where she picked it up from, because it spread to everyone in their family too. I just hate being sick, especially in the summer time, and I would have to say as for me, I HATE colds..they are my least favorite thing to get because they always last me FOREVER, and I always lose my taste. Matt doesn't understand that, he has never lost his taste when he has gotten a cold. So what do you people say....do you lose your taste when you get colds?
We went camping two weeks ago and had a blast! Landon turned into our little fisherman...every minute that he had he was casting his pole (and getting it tangled) but he was cute. He said he was a pro fisherman. He will have to go with his Grandpa Hartman sometime, then he can really catch a fish. Brooklyn loved the fire and and was our professional marshmallow roaster. Everyone slept well, for camping, and we had a great time. I planned on posting about this a long time ago, but never got to it. I will have to load some pictures on later.
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer!
