Okay...
So I have been a TOTAL blog slacker....not that I don't still read others blogs, I just haven't posted anything in FOREVER!!! I guess I have just been too busy sleeping. Yep, that is right, whenever I get the chance to take a nap, I do it. Oh, and I pretty much feel like I have the flu 24/7...you know that nauseous feeling?
What could this mean? Any guesses? Yep, you got it, we are going to be having baby number 4! My official due date is October 8th. We are very excited to be adding another member to our family, I just wish I could bypass the first 16 weeks! But hey, I can't so I am just trying to deal with it. It seems so much harder this time around, maybe because I have three other little ones to take care of? They are super excited.
Matt really, really wanted to tell the kids, like at 6 weeks...I told him no, in a few more weeks. So, 8 weeks rolled around, and he was like okay, now we can tell them. I said, no lets wait a few more weeks, he said, that is what you said last time. I gave in...it was SO funny, Landon didn't believe us. We told him I had a baby in my tummy, and he said no Mom, you guys are just joking, that is just food! After we broke out the book with pictures and told him we really were not joking, he decided that he guessed he believed us. Now he is all grown up about it. He is always telling me, Mom why don't you go take a rest! He is very excited, but I don't think anyone is as excited as Brooklyn. I think she tells everyone she sees that her Mom has a baby in her belly. She is always kissing my belly, and always concerned about the baby. Too cute. Jasmine, well I don't think she really has a clue what is going on yet....maybe once the belly starts to get bigger!
Speaking of bigger belly, man I feel like I am already getting big...I guess it just happens faster the more kiddos you have. Anyone else feel this way?
Well, sorry blogging world that I haven't posted in FOREVER, but I hope that this post was worth the wait!

Kid Update
Okay, so this week I have taken both Jasmine and Landon in for their well child checks...although Jasmine was still grumpy from her illness last week, she was doing fine otherwise.
Jasmine's Stats:
Weight: 24lbs (50%)
Height: 33 1/4 inches (92%)
Landon's Stats:
Weight: 60 lbs! (99%)
Height: 4 feet (96%)
They are both doing great! Landon is one big kid now...he seems to be keeping right up with his stats ever since birth. If he keeps up his growing....according to his 2 year old appointment...I guess you can figure out the "estimated" height......he is suppose to be 6'5"! Landon started Kindergarten last week and is loving it and doing really great! I will try and write more about it later! I feel so blessed to have such healthy children!

Proud Mom Moment...
I know I haven't posted in a long time...I do have good intentions...poor delivery! The last few weeks have been super busy...cleaning. Unfortunately not my own house. I have been busy cleaning out our flip in Berthoud. I also cleaned out a foreclosure home for one of Matt's investors. It was quite a job...I can't believe how dirty some people are. It took me a good 35-40 hours to clean! But I must say it sparkles now...although I still go and look at it and think...I should have gotten that, or that really should get cleaned still. However, you do what you have to. Landon, Brooklyn, and Jasmine were all over at the house "helping" me...mostly making it harder for me to get the job done. Landon all of the sudden said he needed the bucket and the scrub brush. He saw me scrubbing the walls down and decided he wanted to really help me out. Well, after he did that, he told me he needed it downstairs. I was like, but I need it. I couldn't avoid his request, because he had an idea on how to help and he really needed that scrub brush and the bucket downstairs. I decided to let him have it...I had to carry it down for him. He was so excited to help. You see, the basement was unfinished, but the previous owners children had drawn all over the concrete walls with chalk. Landon decided he was going to scrub it all off. After he started he requested a ladder so that he could reach higher and really get it all off. It was so cute, he was so determined to get it all off. I went back the next day and he was back to work again. Both Landon and Brooklyn did such a good job cleaning and worked until they got the chalk off the walls. I am so grateful for the best Mom in the whole world. I am grateful that she taught me how to clean. I always look up to her and hope that someday I can be as loving, patient, clean, and as kind of a person as she is!
So, I have been super busy cleaning out all these other houses, while mine is suffering a bit. Last week we went grocery shopping and when I got home to put the groceries away, I started cleaning and organizing the pantry. Now, I would like to think that I keep it pretty clean and organized most of the time, but it had been a while since I went through and got it in tip top shape. Well...I was pretty proud after I had it just the way I wanted it and showed Matt...he was like, ya it looks nice honey. Needless to say, he wasn't quite as excited about this nice organized pantry as I was. The next morning the kids were up and we were getting ready to go have some cereal for breakfast. I opened up the pantry...it is a pretty good sized walk in pantry, when Landon got this look on his face. He got a big smile, and so excitedly said, "Mom, you organized the pantry, "...gave me the biggest, most sincere hug, and said, "Thank you, thank you for cleaning it, I love you!" He just melted my heart, and made me realize that my kids really do appreciate my hard work in trying to keep my house clean. I love my kids!

Father's Day Camp Trip!
We went camping on Father's Day weekend. Matt, Landon, Brooklyn, Jasmine, and I all went up on Friday and set up our camp. The kids were SO excited to go camping! I was excited to spend some quality time together as well. It seemed like it was a busy camp trip because Jasmine is at the age where it is still hard to walk on the crooked ground, so she would fall down and get her hands dirty...and well she doesn't like dirty hands! Then you have to worry about her falling in the fire and what not, and the nights were VERY cold. Luckily Matt looked it up before hand and we packed a lot of warm clothes for everyone...but still 30 is pretty darn cold at night! We got a new tent...I call it our mansion. It is a 12 person tent, with a dome light, and "automatic" roll up windows. It is really perfect for our family and we all LOVED it! We decided this is our vacation for the summer, so we are hoping to make it camping a few more times.
My Dad and Mandy came up on Saturday morning and set up camp next to us. We went fishing, and Landon thought that since Daddy and Grandpa were in the water he could walk in too. He didn't realized they had on waders...so he ended up in the lake in just his underwear. I think the grossest thing was when Landon came out and we had to pull 6 leeches out of him. YUCK! (He was in boy heavennthough).
Brooklyn had fun walking around the lake and taking Mandy's dogs on a walk. Jasmine had fun trying to eat the M and M's through the zip lock baggie. Jasmine is a candy'acholic.
We had a better night sleep the second night, however, it was very windy...but we were safe in our tent. The next morning we got up and drove over to go fishing again, but it was too windy for the kids and the flyfisherman. We decided to go shoot the guns instead. The kids thought it was great because they got to ride in the back of Grandpa's pick up truck since we were out on the dirt road and up in the moutains. Jasmine wanted to ride in the back so badly, that I decided to sit back with her and enjoy the ride. It was quite fun. The boy's started shooting their guns at some pop cans, and the girls went on a walk, but it didn't last long until the rain came and we had to drive back to our campground. We got back and packed eveything. It was going great until we had just pulled the rain tarp off the tent and were packing everything in the car and the rain started POORING and HAILING! Luckly the kids were already in the car, and most of our stuff. We were just SOAKING and had to reset up the tent and clean it and dry it out when we got home.
It was very nice to be up in the mountains. I am so blessed to have been able to spend Father's Day, not only with the Father of my kids, but my Dad as well. I am so greatful for both of them and the influence they have been on me and my kids lives. I love you both!

Graduation
Grandma JoJo, with Jasmine and Brooklyn waiting for the program to begin!
Landon and Miss Elaine...the best preschool teacher!
Landon holding hands with Hailey and Morgan....he loves girls what can I say!
Landon graduated from preschool on Friday May 22nd, 2009. Crazy how the time flies by. I have to tell you, he is so grown up these last few weeks. It is amazing to me how big he looks and how ready for Kindergarten he is. I am excited for him. I am scared for him. I will MISS him, but I know that he will LOVE school. He is going to FULL day kindergarten and will be gone for 7 hours out of the day. Part of me wishes I could keep him home and protect him forever, but I know that he will do good. He is such a spirited little guy. He loves to make others happy and has such a kind heart. Not only that, but he is such a smart little boy. He says things to me sometimes and I am like, wow, where did you learn that.
I was SO proud of him at his graduation. He had the BEST preschool teacher..Miss Elaine. They did a cute program with lots of songs, and boy did he sing his little heart out. He has no fear of performing in front of others. In fact he loves music and loves to perform for all. Miss Elaine made an awesome scrapbook of a bunch of pictures she took throughout the year. It was so fun to get and I will treasure it forever. I LOVE my Little Man. I can't wait to see what he becomes. According to his preschool book...he is going to be a Mail Carrier...according to him when I asked...he is going to be a Baseball Player. I know he will do good in whatever he decides to do. Way to go Landon!!!

Happy May!
We have had a busy May already! It seems like everyday has been jam packed, and although I will miss preschool..I must say, I am excited for Summer to be able to just do whatever, whenever and not worry about other obligations. I am going to try and enjoy this summer to the fullest, since Landon will be starting up all day kindergarten in August. I am feeling excited and sad all at the same time, but for now, I am just going to forget about it and enjoy.
I have been working hard in my garden the last 2 days, and really don't have a ton to show for it. I do have a few BIG bags full of weeds and my planters are getting closer to being ready to plant. I was going to work outside again today, but it is windy, and I REALLY don't like the wind. So, it will have to wait.
Brooklyn had her 4th Birthday on Saturday! I can't believe my little Brooklyn is growing up so fast. It is hard to believe that she will be doing preschool 3 days next year. I will be down to just Jasmine at home for 3 hours, 3 times a week. Kind of weird how fast this has happened. Brooklyn had a wonderful birthday. She actually had a dance recital on Friday, it was so precious! She did two dances and got to put on big girl make-up and even chance outfits. She had lots of people come and support her. Grandma Jojo, Grammie, Great-grandma Hartman, Aunt Marla, Emily (her cousin), Mallory, Josh, Miss Elaine, Landon, Jasmine, Dad, and Mom of course! Then the following day she had a little party with 3 of her little girlfriends. This year it was a my little pony party! She had a ball and got SPOILED with all of her grandma's, great-grandma, aunt, and friends. I don't ever remember seeing so much PINK! She is a sweet little princess for sure!
What a wonderful busy May it has been. I look forward to the rest of May and all that it will bring!
