Sweet Phoebe

Very early this morning is the day that one year ago, Rebecca gave birth to her sweet angle Rebecca Phoebe Michel. It was such a heart wrenching time for all of the Michel family, especially Martin and Rebecca. Phoebe was a full term stillborn. She was so perfect, that she didn't even need to stay here on this earth. It is so sad and seems so unfair at times, and my heart aches for Martin and Rebecca. This is something that no parent ever wants to have to endure. It makes me realize how precious life really is. I have been thinking a lot about them and one year ago. I know that their hearts will never fully be healed and that Phoebe will always be missed. The one thing I always think of when I think how unfair and hard this is, is what amazing people Rebecca and Martin are to be able to have been chosen to carry, for 9 months, such an amazing and special spirit. I know that one day they will be together again in Heaven. I love their family, I love Phoebe, and I love my Heavenly Father. Families are Forever!

Has it really been that long!

Well, I had good intentions of doing a March Maddness blog, but that never seemed to happen. Now I realized that April is already more than half way over, I thought, forget the pictures and just type something! So, we are doing pretty good. We continue to be stressed with the times, and can't wait to get 5th Street sold in Berthoud, but first need to finish it off. Hopefully we will be closing on another one of our houses in May, and then have the funds to finish up the 5th street house.

We had a very busy, but fun Easter. We spent the night at my Mom's house and went to church with her. It was fun, but Landon woke up...right as the Easter Bunny was going to bed, because he had to go potty, then he realized that the Easter Bunny had come and he was WAY to excited to go back to sleep. Poor little guy, I laid in the middle of Landon and Brooklyn all night long, and Landon I think finally feel asleep around 2:30am. Needless to say, it was a long, but really a very short night of sleep for me. However, it was lots of fun on Easter and the kids had a great time!

Rookie of the Year!

Some of you have already heard, but I was so proud of my husband last night! He found out a couple weeks ago, that he was going to be awarded with Rookie of the Year. He was actually quite surprised at this, but very excited. Last night we got to get all fancied up and go to the Keller Williams Gala at the Marriott in the Denver Tech Center. It was for all of the Colorado Keller Williams agents. It was so fun to see everyone all dressed up in their fancy clothes. I think there were about 10 Rookie of the Year awards given out for all of the Colorado Keller Williams agents, and I think they said there were 2,974 agents or something like that. Matt looked so handsome as he made his way up to the stage to collect his award. This is an award that you can only get during your first full calendar year of being a Realtor. I have to say, that it has been hard going off and starting up a business and doing Real Estate...but my husband does an amazing job at it! It was so neat to be able to be there with the owner of his Keller Williams branch and those others over him and see how impressed they were with him and just the true belief that he is going to go so far in Real Estate. Matt makes a great agent because he really understands that purchasing a home is a big deal in peoples lives. He is so compassionate and concerned with everyone and I think that is a very good quality in him. I am so proud of him that even though we feel like we are on a roller coaster with ups and downs, he is really working hard for our family, and I know that we will be blessed for it. If he can do this in these economical times, just think of the agent he will be when Real Estate is up and running at it's fullest again! Good job honey, I love you!

Not much

I realized that it has been a long time since I have posted on here..so I thought I would tell you all that I am still alive. It seems like life has been busy lately. I guess that is what happens when you have 3 kiddos. Lots of fun, but busy. We are still hoping and praying that someone will go under contract on our house we have been remodeling in Berthoud. It is a BEAUTIFUL home, I wish that we didn't have to sell it. It would be perfect for us, but we are hoping that it will be perfect for someone else as well!
I will try and get some more pictures of us up and running soon. I am looking forward to the nice weather we are suppose to be having this week. Maybe I can get our garage all cleaned out, and organized as well as some of our other things. It makes me want to do a spring cleaning!
