Busy Busy Busy...

So we have been busy around here lately. We went to Utah last week on Friday to see my brothers. We stayed with Kyle and Kristi and had a great timem with them. We got there late Friday night...or maybe I should say EARLY Saturday morning. We got to their house at 1:30am..and then we stayed up until 3:00am...crazy us considering we had to get up with the little munchkins in the mornning, but it was fun. Then Saturday we went to lunch with my other brother and sister-in-law Brady and Carrie. We had fun doing that and then went to Disccovery Gateway and let the kids play around. Then we went and toured the conference center. I couldn't believe how big it was! I can't imagin having to speak in front of so many people. I loved all the artwork they had their too! It was fun. On Sunday we went and toured the Church History Museum. It was really neat to see. They had the death masks of Josep Smith and Hyrum, I thought that was neat. They also had a journal entry from Joseph Smith. It was pretty amazing to think that all those things were once in the hands of our prophet so many years ago and we could still look at them today. After the museum we went and walked around the Salt Lake City Temple Grounds. I always enjoy going to the visitors center and seeing the statue of Christ. I could really feel the spirit as I walked up the ramp to the Christis. I am so thankful for my testimony and to know that The Chrurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true chruch.
Monday we went and visited with my friend that grew up in Berthoud and now lives in Utah. It was fun to see Lacey and her 3 cute kiddos. Next we went to visit my old roomate from BYU Aileen. It was good to see her and meet her 2 sweet little girls. After that we went to Ikea and went shopping. It is a VERY big store with lots and lots to look at, and best of all FREE babysitting while you shop! It was pretty fun, it took us like 4 hours to go through though and I still didn't feel like we go to see everything! Then we went to the Pizza Factory for dinner and had so delecioius pizza and breadsticks and then played at the arcade. Tuesday morning we got up and went to breakfast with my brother Brady and then drove back to little old Wellington. We had a great trip, the time went by way too fast, but I will admit I an thankful for my nice soft bed...blow up beds just don't quite do it for me!

Now I am just trying to get everything all ready for Thanksgiving. We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year and having around 22 people over. Hopefully everyone will have a good time and I can get everything done that I would like to before hand so that I can enjoy the holiday with family!
